As the healthcare debate continues at the national level, I know that our Arkansas Legislature must continue to work towards affordable and accessible healthcare for all Arkansans and planning for state implementation of any initiative passed by the federal government. As the grandfather of a special needs child, I’ve seen what families go through to get treatment and ongoing care they need. And as part of the baby boom generation, I understand how critical it is for seniors to have access to preventative therapies, medication and treatment when needed. As our system goes through vast changes, we need to make sure funds are spent wisely and distributed fairly and I believe that I can help in that effort as your Congressman.
